La Promesa, 'The Promise,' refers to the promise made by company patriarch Jose 'Pepin' Garcia to his family before leavinghis native Cuba. He promised to make something of himself in the cigar world outside of Cuba, to honor his family and his tobaccoheritage. Don Pepin fulfilled that promise with My Father factories in both Nicaragua and Miami. The La Promesa is the latest releasefrom My Father and just recently began hitting shelves across the country.
