Cigar Reveal #208
Originally hailing from Los Angeles, Art Garcia has started his own factory in the heart of Esteli, Nicaragua. Garcia is passionate about most things, including cigar-making and tequila. A not-so-fun-fact (for Garcia), he originally started his factory under the name Antigua Esteli, but was sued by the Garcia Family (My Father Cigars) for copyright infringement of their cigar La Antiguedad. They settled and he changed his brand to Segovias de Esteli. We smoked these with Garcia in his office in the factory in Esteli, and purchased them same day. They are a pre-release (yep, we are the first to smoke them!) and will hit the US market in the Fall. Garcia is one of the rare brand owners that moved south from the States in order to start his own factory and make cigars his way! It's a bold undertaking, and we're excited to see it's starting to pay off.
