After successfully running a chiropractic clinic in Glendale, CA, Dr. Garo Bouldoukian decided to return to school to earn his medical degree. He attended medical school in the Dominican Republic, where his love for cigars quickly led him to explore local factories. The same dedication Dr. Garo brought to his medical practice was channeled into the art of cigar manufacturing. In 1996, he launched Garo Cigars, introducing his first of many unique blends to the industry. Using the rich tobaccos of the Dominican Republic, and keeping a close check on his cigars by visiting the factories monthly, Dr Garo is as passionate about the craft of cigar making as he is dedicated.
