Cigar Reveal #332

Punch
Signature

The Punch Signature is a modern, fuller-bodied extension of the historic Punch brand, which dates back to 1840 in Cuba and was originally created for the English market. Over time, Punch became one of the earliest Cuban heritage brands to successfully transition production to Honduras, where it developed a reputation for bold, approachable cigars with wide appeal.

The Signature line was introduced as a more refined yet powerful expression of the brand—designed to maintain Punch’s traditional strength while adding complexity and richness. It leans into a darker, oilier presentation and a more modern flavor profile, aimed at experienced smokers who want something fuller and more layered than the classic Punch offerings. The cigar is typically produced in Honduras using a Corojo-based wrapper and a multi-country filler blend, emphasizing both heritage and evolution within the Punch portfolio.

Cigar Dojo

This is a fun new release that gives smokers the chance to revisit the Punch brand. While I wasn't the biggest fan of the cigar's band (a little plain, if you ask me), the smoking experience was quite the opposite. This is a great everyday smoke that would pair really nicely with a cup of coffee.

Kohnhed

The Punch Signature is an excellent blend. I wouldn’t mind having a box. The only thing required is patience on your part. I wouldn’t touch the cigars with less than two months humidor time.

My only criticism is that there were several burn issues that required about 4 touch ups. Punch is known for extremely full bodied blends and the Punch Signature does not change that reputation. But I haven’t smoked a Punch with this marvelous flavor profile.

Leaf Enthusiast

Once lit, the Punch Signature held out flavors of leather and earth, semisweet chocolate and espresso bean, along with a touch of citrus and a little pepper on the finish. The retrohale was nutty and woody with some white pepper burn to it.
