Cigar Reveal #5990

C.L.E.
Corojo

In 2012, Christian Eiroa, former owner of Camacho Cigars, launched CLE Cigars and introduced the CLE Corojo. Fast forward five years, and the CLE brand remains strong under Eiroa's innovative mastery. The CLE Corojo is a full-bodied delight, offering a classic corojo experience with spicy and sweet Honduran Corojo. The journey begins with cedar, honey sweetness, and red pepper, evolving into heartier dimensions.

The second part reveals red pepper and nuttiness, with a growing intensity of pepper and hints of cinnamon. The finish introduces espresso and cedar as the ring gauge tapers. The final phase brings sweet cedar, red pepper, and nuttiness, enhanced by coffee notes. The CLE Corojo is a complete package of aroma, balance, complexity, and taste, showcasing Eiroa's mastery of Corojo. A must-add for Corojo enthusiasts, this cigar takes you on a journey through the legacy of a remarkable leaf.

Cigar Coop

This cigar is a home run for Christian Eiroa.  As I said up front, this cigar really flies under the radar, but should not be a cigar that is overlooked.  This cigar seems to have everything going for it: great flavor, complexity, balance, and outstanding construction.  I would not hesitate recommending this to a novice cigar enthusiast looking to graduate to a medium to full strength/body cigar.   This is definitely a cigar I’d recommend to any seasoned cigar enthusiast.  As for myself, I consider this a cigar that I would purchase a box for – and definitely would smoke again.

Cigar Aficionado

Earthy coffee notes lead to a sweet vanilla finish on this well-made, even-burning cigar. It is rolled with a bulging middle, tapered foot and three-seam cap.

I enjoyed this smoke! If you are into really earthy cigars with some creaminess and a tiny bit of spice, then this might be the cigar for you! If you tend to look for complexity or constantly changing flavors, you might want to skip this one. I personally tend to love corojo wrapped cigars, so for me, this is one I would pick up again. I enjoyed the rich earthiness with creaminess and spice! As you can tell, I smoked it right down to the nub and I enjoyed every bit of it!
