Description We're doing this one a little different! Standard & Twain is proud to introduce the world to All Saints - along with their debut cigar - Solamente. S&T subscribers are the first to smoke this cigar (you won't find any reviews out there!). Though you may not know All Saints yet, you will be seeing their cigars on humidor shelves soon, and whether you know it or not, chances are you've already seen All Saints founder Micky Pegg's work in the industry. That's because Pegg is the former National Sales Director of CAO Int., and has also worked for Felipe Gregorio and industry giant Davidoff. After departing from CAO, Pegg took a break from cigars and worked in wealth management. But it wasn't long before his two friends convinced him it was time to return with his own brand. Together they launched All Saints. Pegg calls Solamente their 'pre-release cigar,' and it debuted on, of course, All Saints Day (November 1st). It is also a limited release, with only 5,000 cigars made in a single size (5x58). It was made in the TAVICUSA cigar factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. Their first regular production line, Dedicacion, will release in the Spring.
Review: Our Review
This is a rich, delicious after dinner smoke worthy of being a debut cigar. It has an oily, gorgeous dark brown wrapper that burns slow and even. From the first puff comes dark chocolate and caramel, with just the right of spice in the nose to add to it's complexity. That flavor endures through the smoke with an added cedar note and even a touch of cinnamon into a slightly short finish.  Indeed, the perfect dessert to follow up a good meal.
