Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario Corojo

Aganorsa Leaf’s story begins in the late 1990s, when Eduardo Fernández moved to Nicaragua with a vision to cultivate tobacco that married Cuban tradition with Nicaraguan terroir. Over time, Aganorsa (Agrícola Ganadera Norteña S.A.) evolved into a vertically integrated enterprise controlling seed selection, farming, fermentation, and cigar production. The premium cigar arm was once marketed under the “Casa Fernández” name, but around 2018 the branding was aligned under Aganorsa Leaf to reflect the company’s identity as both grower and blender. The Aniversario line began as a celebratory series (initially under Casa Fernández) to honor milestones in the company’s history, using only Aganorsa-grown tobaccos. In late 2021, the Aniversario Corojo line was rebranded to Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario Corojo, though the blend remained unchanged, keeping the same Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper and Aganorsa cellared tobaccos in the filler and binder.
