Black Star Line Cigars was founded by Aric Bey, a former Chicago firefighter with a passion for cigars, storytelling, and social impact. Inspired by Black Wall Street and the Pan-African ideals of Marcus Garvey, the company aims to celebrate Black excellence while crafting top-tier, small-batch cigars in collaboration with some of the industry’s most respected factories, including El Titan de Bronze and Tabacalera La Isla. Mr. Fahrenheit is one of Black Star Line’s standout blends—a tribute to Bey’s firefighting career and his love for Queen, named after a lyric in “Don’t Stop Me Now.” Rolled at La Isla in the Dominican Republic and released in a shaggy-foot corona gorda format, each cigar also gives back, with proceeds supporting Ignite the Spirit, a charity for firefighter families. More than just a cigar, Mr. Fahrenheit is part of a mission-driven brand blazing its own trail in the boutique cigar world.
