Letters of Transit: Ronda, Spain
“A man does not belong to the place he was born in, but the place he chooses to die.” - Orson Welles
The least known of our locations, and we’re fine with that! A hidden gem buried in the Andalusian hills, Ronda is host to both the oldest bull ring, and Puente Nuevo, the most beautiful bridge on the planet. Ronda was a favorite of Orson Welles, whose ashes were scattered there, and Ernest Hemingway, who used Ronda in several of his novels. It also happens to be my most beloved village, so there was a lot of personal pressure to create a blend as unique as the location itself. But that's just what we did. A unique size with unique flavor from our friend Victor Calvo of Tabacalera Tambor. Smoke, enjoy, visit Ronda. Just don't tell anyone else about it.
